How does Homevisiting OT work? 

Feel free to contact for more information regarding your specific situation!  However, I will arrive at your home at the appointment time, and the session will take place inside of your home.  You will need to remain present for the entirety of the session, however you do not need to remain in the exact room the majority of the session may take place in.

How does Community-Based OT work?

Feel free to contact for more information regarding your specific situation as this is very context based to the environment and place.

What ages do you currently service?

6 months - 26 years; I don’t specialize in newborns.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

To receive therapeutic OT services that are going to be billed to insurance, a referral from a doctor is required.  However, due to the fact that I do not currently accept insurance, a doctor’s referral is not required.

Do you accept private pay?

Yes.

Do you accept health insurance / what insurances do you accept?

No, I do not currently accept health insurance.  However, this is currently in process.  Keep in touch if you’re interested but are unable to pay out of pocket, I am working on becoming credentialed through insurance!

How do out-of-network benefits work?

N/A

Do you accept credit cards?  Cash?  Checks?

How long is a typical session?

45-50 minutes, maximum of 2 hours.

Do you offer group services?

Not at this time.

What is the procedure for getting started?

If you’re contacting me with the hope for a screen or an evaluation, I’ll be in contact with you within 48-72 to schedule.  A screen may be able to be completed via telehealth, however depending on the concerns provided, an in-person/at-home visit for an evaluation may be required.  After the evaluation has been completed, within a week’s time if found clinically necessary, then services will be scheduled promptly within the next 1-2 weeks. Can you provide in home/community services outside of the Washtenaw/Wayne area?

Due to being the sole provider of OOTB, at this time I’m not able to schedule in-home visits outside of my driving radius.  However, I’m able to complete telehealth services for anyone currently living in Michigan.
